chevy starter problems?
I converted my car from a 4 speed to a 350TH auto. Switched the 153 tooth flywheel to the 168 tooth flex plate. Using the universal Tilton mini starter, same used on the 4 speed, the starter is breaking off teeth on the flex plate. I have the correct
it's posible that they might have gotten one hole off a bit. but I'm thinking you need a different drive gear on the starter and here's why. a flywheel with 153 teeth will either have the teeth centerlines spaced farther apart or have a smaller outside
