If a motorbike is left unused for long period say 6-7 months, does its engine or any other parts deteriorate?

What will happen to the engine life in this case

Sitting for 6 months won't exactly cause any moving parts to deteriorate.

How well it was prepped for storage and how carefully it is removed from storage will have much more influence on engine life and performance.
