How many parts in a nascar engine and transmission are factory original parts?

I wonder why they can't restrict horsepower with factory cranks rods and pistons.Anybody know why they don't do this?

Probably none. And you wonder why them call them "stock cars" when they are anything but. They should call them "stacked cars" because everything used in a race car is for power and efficiency which makes sense for racing. I'm
