How do i remove front bike brake pads? i tried but the bolt wont move?

my bike is an x-game bike (i think cuz thats what it says on the side of the bike) i brought it fomr toy's r us. i need to remove the front brake pads cuz i think their worn outt. i removed the rear ones and it was easy. idk y the front dosnt work.

NEVER use WD40 anywhere near a brake!

Just take a pair of pliers, grab the shoe (not the nut), and turn it clockwise. That should loosen it right up.
